Meet the Team

  • Brett Dudar

    DIRECTOR OF EHC & PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

    Brett is a certified Hockey Canada skills coach and a High Performance 1 trained coach with Hockey Manitoba. He develops and oversees the company’s Evolution Hockey Club (EHC) program for players on the pathway to high performance.

    During the off-season, Brett works with many of Manitoba’s best amateur and professional players.

    Brett has been a skills coach with the MJHL’s Selkirk Steelers since the 2021-22 season.

  • Jake Dudar

    DIRECTOR OF EVOLUTION PLAY, SKILLS COACH

    Jake is a certified Hockey Canada skills coach and the lead instructor of the company’s Evolution PLAY program. He is passionate about helping young hockey players who want to have fun and enjoy the game.

    Jake has a wealth of knowledge at teaching the fundamental skills to help kids progress while having FUN.


  • Andrea Kaptein

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Andrea keeps Evolution Hockey running smoothly on and off the ice, combining an eye for detail with a big-picture focus on program success. She manages scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day operations while helping shape and support the growth of our programs.

    You’ll often find Andrea behind the scenes making sure everything clicks—so coaches can coach, players can develop, and every team member has the support they need to succeed. Her organization, and commitment to excellence make her a driving force behind the Evolution Hockey experience.

  • Riley Dudar

    PLAYER & COACH DEVELOPMENT, FOUNDER/OWNER

    Riley is a certified Hockey Canada skills coach, High Performance 1 coach, and a certified mental game coaching professional. He manages Evolution Hockey’s research and coach development, educating players and coaches on the progressive nuances of the game. Riley also consults with many of Manitoba’s elite amateur and professional players, working on their individual games through video and private sessions.

    In addition, Riley is a scout for the USHL’s Chicago Steel, and the Director of Player Development for the Western Canadian Hockey Academy and the Brandon Wheat Kings.

  • Ryan Laing

    DIRECTOR OF SJR HOCKEY, SKILLS COACH

    Ryan joined Evolution Hockey in the summer of 2021. He is passionate about developing young athletes through the love of sport. Growing up in small town Manitoba, Ryan played competitive hockey for 15 years.

    While studying for his diploma in business administration, Ryan moved to Alberta where he coached collegiate volleyball. After graduation, he returned to Manitoba to coach at the University level.

    Ryan is specifically focused on accelerating talent, building team morale, and encouraging the love of the game. 


  • Brant Hilton

    DIRECTOR OF EVOLUTION GOALTENDING

    Brant is a Hockey Canada Certified Goalie Coach. He joined Evolution Hockey in the fall of 2020 and since that point has become its Director of Goaltending, in charge of overseeing and growing the Evolution Goaltending program.

    Along with his role at Evolution, Brant is also the goaltending coach for the MJHL’s Selkirk Steelers, and was the goaltending consultant for Team Manitoba’s U16 Program of Excellence in the fall of 2021.


  • Ben Little

    COMMUNICATIONS & COMMUNITY EVENTS COORDINATOR

    Ben began working with Evolution after graduating from Red River’s Creative Communications program in 2025.

    Ben uses his background to tell the Evolution story. You’ll often see him in the middle of the action with a camera in his hand, documenting all of the excitement and fun our programs have to offer.

  • Jessica Kaminsky

    EHC COACH

    Jessica was born in Winnipeg, and continues to give back to the sport she loves.

    An Esso Cup National Champion, Jessica played NCAA Division 1 hockey at Union College Dutchwomen, finishing her collegiate career with the Manitoba Bisons.

    Jessica has since played several roles in player development in Winnipeg. She continues to coach the MFHL’s Winnipeg Ice, and has a strong connection with female athletes across Manitoba. Jessica joined Evolution in summer 2025.

  • Remi Laurencelle

    EHC COACH

    A skilled and experienced player, Remi brings high-level hockey knowledge to the Evolution Hockey coaching team.

    Having competed in the SEMHL and playing high level ball hockey for the Winnipeg Blizzard, Remi understands the dedication and skill required to excel. His firsthand experience, combined with his passion for teaching the game, helps players develop their skills while fostering a love for the sport.


  • Omar Hawash

    GOALTENDING COACH

    Omar joined Evolution Hockey in the Winter of 2018, and works with goaltenders of all ages and skill levels. Omar’s love of hockey started on the rinks in Baldur, Manitoba, and later, at Riverview Community Centre in Winnipeg. He is an active coach for the St. Vital Victorias.

    In addition, Omar participated in the Arab Cup of Hockey in 2018 for Team Egypt leading the team to their first international win.

  • COLE BILOUS

    SKILLS COACH

    Cole joined Evolution Hockey in the spring of 2021. Having grown up training with Evolution himself, he developed a deep passion for helping players enjoy the game while reaching their goals. A WHL draft pick in 2021 and a former member of Team Manitoba’s U16 Program of Excellence, Cole brings firsthand experience competing at elite levels of hockey.

    He’s currently studying at the University of Winnipeg to become a teacher and continues to share his knowledge, leadership, and love for the game with the next generation of players.

    GOALTENDING COACH

    Ben joined Evolution Hockey in the summer of 2025, bringing years of experience both as a player and as part of Evolution’s programming. His playing career includes stops with the Pembina Valley Hawks U15 AAA, Notre Dame Hounds U16 and U18 Prep, Winnipeg Freeze, and the Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL, 2025–26), giving him a deep understanding of the game from the net out.

    Ben is loved by the goalies he coaches and all the players he interacts with. He has a remarkable eye for the goaltending position and a natural ability to connect with athletes, helping them build confidence, skill, and a love for the game. We’re thrilled to have him on our team and to see the impact he continues to make on the next generation of goalies.
